What is a Healthy Church Assessment?
Our Pastor team asked the Northwest Baptist Convention to come in and do a Healthy Church Assessment.
A Healthy Church Assessment is like a spiritual check-up for your church. It helps leaders get a clear, honest picture of where the church is strong, where it’s struggling, and where there are opportunities for growth. The goal isn’t to shame or compare—it’s to help the church grow in health, fruitfulness, and mission.
Think of it like the dashboard on your car: it shows what’s working and what might need attention before it breaks down.
Why It Matters
Clarity – It puts words and data to what people may already be sensing.
Alignment – It helps leadership and members get on the same page.
Focus – It reveals what matters most right now, instead of trying to fix everything at once.
Next Steps – It gives a roadmap for moving forward intentionally.
What do you need to do? 🧐
As part of Valleypoint’s desire to grow in health and mission, we’re inviting every individual and couple in our church to take part in a 25-minute Healthy Church Assessment interview.
These interviews are led by trained assessors from the Northwest Baptist Convention, including local pastors from Eastern Washington and NWBC staff. They’re designed to listen and learn from you about Valleypoint Church. Every interview is confidential. The Northwest Baptist Convention will have 10 assessors there to help make things easy in the process.
🥳 You’ll be asked simple things like:
What's going well at Valleypoint?
How long have you been at Valleypoint?
How can Valleypoint better partner with what God’s doing?
Your input will help us shape the future together.
